Following an immense brand overhaul, we were asked to redesign the Great City Pass guidebooks in keeping with the new brand guidelines. As part of the design revamp, we reworked the guidebook layout and created customised mapping for every city attraction on offer as well as the city overview maps, in order to extend the new branding to all aspects of the publication. Designing a workable layout was complex due to the size and multi-language nature of the guidebook. The challenge was to effectively create a consistent layout with clearly defined zones for essential attraction information, special information, attraction facilities, imagery and mapping, as well text information about the attraction in three different languages, within a pocket-sized publication, and without cluttering the spread. The final design was successfully rolled out across all of the Great City Passes, across the globe.
